The end of the valley (Talschluss), where you can find an exciting variety of leisure activities, is only not far apart (about 4 km). The next bus stop, where a bus for hikers runs every 30 minutes in the high season, is located only about 200 m away from our apartments in Saalbach Hinterglemm. By the way: With your included JOKER CARD you can use the cable cars in Saalbach Hinterglemm as well as all bike-trails and many more attractions without any restrictions.

Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps

At the end of the Glemm Valley you can find the highest treetop trail in Europe. The treetop path was built on 11 towers in an altitude of 30 m, has a length of 1 km and is a special experience for its young and old visitors. The highlight of the treetop path is the 200 m Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps, which crosses the Glemm Valley at an altitude of 42 m and allows a fabulous view.

Action

Those who love action must definitely not miss the high rope course and the Europe Slides at the end of the Glemm Valley. With a length of 8 km and 10 challenging courses, one of Europe’s biggest high rope courses awaits you. Extremely adventurous visitors also try the 2.5 km Europe Slide. The Glemm Valley is crossed four times with four giant flying fox slides at a height up to 120 m – what a thrill!

The queen of all hiking tours

With the ‘Seven Summits of Saalbach Hinterglemm‘, a breathtaking mountain hike and true challenge waits for very fit, experienced mountaineers. On a length of 24 km, the ‘Queen of Hiking Routes’ leads over the highest peaks of the Glemm Valley. Formidable 1,413 metres in altitude uphill and 2,128 downhill have to be managed. The tour starts at the top station of the Schattberg X-press. Afterwards the mountaineers reach seven summits, including the highest mountain of the Glemm Valley, the Geißstein (2,363 m), before they come down to the valley end via the Birgl.

The Mountainbike-Eldorado

Freeride, Trailride, Downhill, All Mountain, Cross Country, or Pumptrack – the mountain bike eldorado Saalbach Hinterglemm and the Bikepark Leogang thrill every bike enthusiast. A broad offer of easy, mid-level, and difficult mountain bike, freeride and downhill tracks leaves no desires unfulfilled.
By the way: The JOKER CARD entitles you to free use of the cable cars in Saalbach Hinterglemm as well as all mountain bike tracks in the area.

Infinite panorama view

More than 400 km of hiking trails of varying difficulty lead to an unforgettable mountain experience in the nature of the Home of Lässig. Right in front of our apartments in Saalbach Hinterglemm you can find an attractive loipe for cross-country skiing, which heads to the popular and well-frequented Lindlingalm at the end of the valley. You can also enjoy the silence and beauty of the pristine winter landscape during an extended winter walk. For holidays with children, we recommend a tobogganing trip for example to the Lindlingalm.

Enjoy winter with your entire family – in the winter paradise Saalbach Hinterglemm. Our vacation apartments are situated idyllically on a sunny, quiet hillside outside the village centres of Saalbach and Hinterglemm. Nevertheless, the skiing area Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, which belongs to Austria’s greatest skiing areas thanks to a verified length of runs of 270 km, can be reached easily within a short time. The next bus stop is only about 150 to 200 m away from our apartments. The ski bus runs regularly (in the high season every 20 minutes, otherwise every half hour).

On over 270 kilometers of pistes with 70 ski lifts and over 60 cozy ski huts, an unforgettable skiing experience is guaranteed for beginners, families and experts. As one of the most varied ski areas in Austria, Saalbach Hinterglemm offers not only numerous pistes of different levels of difficulty, but also various snow parks, a freeride park, floodlit pistes and several toboggan runs. There is a bus stop just 200 m from our holiday apartments. The ski bus, which you can use free of charge with your ski pass and ski equipment, runs regularly (every 20 minutes in the high season, otherwise every half hour).

Looking for a sporty alternative to skiing or snowboarding? Then we recommend a round of cross-country skiing on one of the attractive cross-country trails in Saalbach Hinterglemm. A special insider tip: the high-altitude trail at the end of the valley, which leads directly past our apartment and goes along the Saalach to the Lindlingalm, offers an unforgettable cross-country skiing experience in an enchanting landscape, completely away from the hustle and bustle.

Egal ob ein aufregendes Rennen unter Freunden oder eine gemütliche Abfahrt mit der Familie – auf den verschiedenen Rodelbahnen in Saalbach Hinterglemm ist der Spaß für Jung und Alt garantiert. Und falls man nach einem aufregendem Rodeltag immer noch nicht genug bekommen kann, verfügen die Rodelbahnen am Reiterkogel und Spielberghaus sowie die Abfahrt auf der Maisalm zusätzlich über eine Flutlichtbeleuchtung für das nächtliche Rodelerlebnis.
